Police: Jealous woman runs down ex, new girlfriend

“Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned,” the famous phrase goes.

It was on display Tuesday night on Highway 167 when a woman saw her boyfriend giving his new girlfriend a ride on her motorcycle. State Patrol Trooper Chris Webb says the woman decided to run the motorcycle down.

“Troopers did the test at the scene and there was no alcohol present on any of those drivers,” he said. “Just anger and a love triangle.”

Trooper Webb said the woman is looking at a felony assault charge. The new girlfriend went to the hospital with a broken arm and possibly a broken leg.

The man is going to be OK, though he was arrested for driving without a license.
