Original story
Police are searching for a missing 4-year-old out of Edmonds after her father called police, concerned about his daughter’s safety.
Bryn McEwan may have been last seen at her mother Ramona’s home in Edmonds Tuesday night. Bryn was believed to have been picked up by her mother at a Lynnwood daycare, La Petite Acadamy, Tuesday.
Police believe Ramona McEwan has been having paranoid delusions that have gotten worse over the past few days.
Apparently, she removed the SIM card from her cellphone because she believed an old neighbor was trying to hypnotize and kill her and her children through electronic devices.
Bryn is about 3 feet 4 inches tall, weighs 40 pounds and has brown hair and blue eyes. She was wearing a white shirt and white dress or skirt.
Ramona McEwan, 43, has brown hair and blue eyes, is 5 feet 4 inches tall and 160 pounds. She was last seen wearing an ankle-length dress with black and white stripes.
The two may be traveling in a 2001 dark colored Jeep Wrangler with Washington license plate AUD5538.
Anyone who sees Ramona, Bryn or the Jeep is asked to call the Washington State Patrol.
