Police searching for driver in deadly hit & run in Bellevue

Bellevue police have made an arrest in the deadly hit & run case from Saturday morning.  Police released the following information:

Bellevue Police has located the individual and has them in custody. More updates will be provided soon via the Bellevue Beat Blog. Thank you to the community for your support of our efforts in finding the subject.”

Police in Bellevue are looking for a driver who killed an elderly pedestrian, then drove off.

Someone driving a late 1990s-model, white Toyota Camry struck and killed a woman in a parking lot of a business.

This was around 8:00 a.m. Saturday, near Bellevue’s Highland Park Community Center and Skate Park, just east of 140th Ave. N.E. and Bel-Red Road.

The woman died at the scene.

Bellevue Police released a photo of the suspect’s vehicle.

They are asking the public for help in locating the driver.

Anyone with information are asked to call the department’s non-emergency line at 425-577-5656.
