For the second time in a week, the Grays Harbor Sheriff’s office has released new information in the nearly three year old disappearance of Lindsey Baum.
The investigation has been focused on one man who lives outside of McCleary since the beginning. And on Wednesday, detectives released some of the items taken from him during searches of his home and business during the investigation.
KIRO TV reports they have seized ropes, resistance bands, computers, a gun, a sheet with stains, and handwritten notes about the Baum’s disappearance.
Also among the 100 items recovered, a human fingernail.
All of them are being tested to see if they have any bearing on the case. The 10-year-old girl vanished while walking home on a sunny summer night three years ago.
Last week, detectives released a video of this man shot in McCleary the day Baum disappeared. He had told detectives he wasn’t in town.
