Some Puget Sound Energy customers are without power after heavy rain overnight and gusty winds.
Some of the areas were outages were reported were Auburn, Bay View/Sammish Island area, Mount Vernon, Kent, Kingston and Langley. Scattered outages were also reported in Bellingham.
A front that pushed into the region Thursday night brought the windiest night of the season so far with 51 mph gusts in Everett at 11 p.m.
The stronger winds are expected to subside by daybreak though it will be showery and breezy through the morning commute.
Showers will mainly be confined to the mountains and foothills during the day though a few spots of rain will be around along with some sun breaks. A convergence zone could focus some areas of rain in the central Sound, however.
