Nearly 5,000 Seattle City Light customers lose power in Beacon Hill outage

Nearly 5,000 Seattle City Light customers were without power early Thursday morning.

Seattle City Light crews were called to respond to an outage in Seattle’s Beacon Hill neighborhood at approximately 5:30 a.m. When the outage was first reported, 4,813 customers were without power.

Just before 10 a.m. Thursday, more than 700 people are still without power.

There is no ETA for when power will be completely restored.

The cause of the outage is under investigation.
