Power restored after outage hits more than 3,000 in North Seattle

Power has been restored after an outage affected more than 3,000 customers in North Seattle on Monday.
The power outage started around 11 a.m., affecting thousands of residents from South Lake Union to Discovery Park, according to Seattle City Light’s outage map.
As of 12:30 p.m., there were still 2,488 people without power in the area.
The outage lasted approximately two hours before the power was fixed around 1 p.m.
The cause of the outage was under investigation.
