If you have been loving the dry weather we’ve been having, there is good news. The dry streak in Western Washington is showing no sign of ending any time soon.

September was one of the driest months on record. According to KING 5 meteorologist Rich Marriott, if you combine the rain totals from August and September it does set a record.

In 2012, the two months only produced .003 inches of rain. The previous record was .019 inches of rain, said Marriott.

“It’s definitely a dry pattern,” he commented.

As for the next 10 days – Marriott said there’s no significant rain in the forecast.
