Pursuit on Lake City Way ends in fatal crash

A police pursuit of a fleeing car in North Seattle ended in a fatal crash early Thursday.
The rollover crash happened in the 7500 block of Lake City Way Northeast/SR 522 on the off-ramp to southbound I-5 at around 4 a.m.
All lanes of Lake City Way reopened around 8 a.m.

Police said the driver lost control, hit some brush, struck a parked car, went airborne, and then rolled over.
There were two people in the car. One person was ejected and the other was trapped in the car. One person was killed and the second person was injured. It is unclear which person in the car was killed — the driver or the passenger.
Police said the incident may be connected to a domestic violence call.
