Raft overturns near Jetty Island; 4 pulled from water in Everett rescue

Four people were rescued after their raft capsized near Jetty Island, the Everett Fire Department confirmed.

The Everett Fire Department’s marine and rescue swimmers team, alongside assistance from the Everett Police Department, was able to quickly locate the group after the raft capsized Sunday and rescued them.

All four people were saved by the rescue teams, despite one person being unable to get out of the water during the rescue.

It is unknown what injuries the group suffered or whether anyone needed to go to the hospital.
