Boy missing from Renton area has been found

A 13-year-old boy who had been missing from the Renton area since last Thursday has been found, the Renton Police Department (RPD) stated on X.

The Washington State Patrol issued a Missing Indigenous Person Alert late Thursday night for the boy.

He had last been seen that night near 121st Avenue in Renton and was allegedly heading in an unknown direction.

A spokesperson for RPD told KIRO Newsradio he was found around 8:30 a.m. Wednesday in the Renton Highlands. But police do not know where he has been since last week.
