We knew CEO Steve Ballmer is leaving Microsoft, and now there are reports of a call from some to get rid of the chairman of the board, Bill Gates.
Reuters reports three of the top 20 investors in Microsoft are lobbying the board to press for Bill Gates to step down as chairman of the software company he co-founded 38 years ago.
A Microsoft spokesperson isn’t commenting.
Gates owns about 4-and-a-half percent of the $277 billion company and is its largest individual shareholder.
