The King County Sheriff’s Office (KCSO) investigated a report of a possible sighting of Travis Decker Friday night near Snoqualmie Pass.
However, Decker was not located, and the search was called off at about 9:15 p.m.
The tip came in at about 6 p.m., the sheriff’s office said.
“The King County Sheriff’s Office received a tip from a community member that believes they saw Travis Decker near the Snoqualmie Pass and Pacific Crest Trail,” authorities said in an email to KIRO Newsradio. “As locating Decker is a priority, KCSO dispatched multiple patrol units along with TAC-30, K-9 Units, and Guardian 1 to aid in the search.”
Decker is wanted for allegedly killing his three daughters in late May outside of Leavenworth.
