Seahawks’ quarterback Russell Wilson repeatedly shows he’s got plenty of heart, and now he’s trying to get one for a sick kid.
Wilson, who regularly visits Seattle Children’s Hospital, posted a video on Instagram this week with a 16-year-old patient he identifies as “Chris.”
“My man needs a heart transplant, anybody got an extra heart?” a smiling Wilson says from Chris’ bedside. “Rooting for you guys, thank you guys so much. Go Hawks.”
“Yeah,” Chris says.
It’s not the first time Wilson has put in a plea for a new heart. Last year, he showed off a duct tape wallet made by transplant patient Allison Christenson, who coincidentally got a new heart the same day.
