Seattle attorney seeks Susan Powell records again

The Seattle attorney representing the parents of Susan Powell will once again ask a Utah city for all the records surrounding her disappearance.
Anne Bremner will go before the West Valley City Council Tuesday to ask for all the police and other records relating to the 2009 disappearance of Susan Powell.
This will be the third time she has asked for the records. She was denied the last time in June.
The Salt Lake Tribune reports Bremner wants all the files so she can have all the information about the investigation before preparing lawsuits for the agencies involved in the investigation.
Bremner has been fighting for the release of the entire case file under a Utah law that provides victims the same rights and access to investigative records as criminal defendants.
She believes releasing the information won’t compromise any investigations because Josh Powell is dead and his father, Steven Powell, is in jail.
In February, Josh Powell attacked his two sons with a hatchet, then lit his Washington rental home ablaze, killing himself and his boys.
