The SFD noted that the fire was in a non-residential building. Firefighters were on scene at 3:44 a.m. when the roof began to collapse.

“The roof of part of the building collapsed, forcing crews to work in a defensive position by putting water on the fire at a safe distance away from the building,” SFD reported.

SFD posted on social media at 4 a.m. that the fire was under control. More than two hours later, the fire was officially extinguished.

There were no reported injuries resulting from the fire. The incident is currently under investigation.
