The Seattle Police Department reports more human remains were found Monday morning at a recycling center in SoDo.
Police believe it is probable the remains, located in the 200 block of South Hanford Street, are connected to the ongoing investigation into the murder of a 40-year-old Renton woman, Ingrid Lyne.
KIRO 7’s Alison Grande reports that an employee was sorting paper from plastic and found a leg.
The SPD first found three bags that contained a human head, a piece of an arm and leg in a Central District recycling bin on April 9. John Robert Charlton, 37, was arrested in Snohomish County and is in custody in King County, charged with murder in the first degree and theft. Charlton admitted that he’d been dating Lyne for about a month and they’d come home late from a Mariners’ game on April 8. Charlton claimed he was so drunk he didn’t know how they got back to Lyne’s home or what happened that night and woke up on a sidewalk the next morning.

According to charging documents, investigators removed the plumbing beneath Lyne’s bathtub and found blood and flesh. They also found a 15-inch wood saw.
Additional human remains were found by a garbage collector on April 15 at 20th Avenue and Marion Street, near where the initial remains were found.
