Seattle’s Canlis home to America’s best bathroom

Seattle’s acclaimed Canlis Restaurant has earned a new honor, but it has nothing to do with the food.
The Daily Meal blog has named the women’s room at Canlis America’s best bathroom:
The women’s restroom at Seattle’s famed Canlis is nothing short of jaw-droppingly stunning. Entering this restroom is like stepping into a Zen spa retreat, complete with gray flagstone floors, beige wall tiles, fresh flowers, Japanese art, big, soft towels for hand drying, and best of all, a big window looking out into a bamboo-filled sunken garden.
Canlis beat out some pretty tough competition, including the Four Seasons in New York, the famed Marimoto in New York and Chicago restaurant standout The Publican.
It’s tough enough getting a reservation at Canlis thanks to decades of awards and accolades. Now you have to wonder if people will come solely for the can.
