It started with two guys sharing a beer in a Burien park and ended with one of them being stabbed several times.
A 57-year-old homeless man says he was drinking with a younger man in
Jacob Ambaum Park Wednesday afternoon when he had to use the restroom.
He says the younger man followed him in and demanded his cell phone. When he refused to give it up, the man pulled out a knife and stabbed him several times.
The victim made it to a nearby convenience store for help and the other man ran off. The victim was transported to Harborview and is in stable condition.
Police believe the suspect lives nearby and might still be covered in blood.
