A million dollar warrant for Sonney Lee Belgard Jr. has been issued for attempted second degree murder, and the Kitsap County Sheriff is asking the public for locating him.

The warrant was issued after Belgard shot a woman in the face during an argument in their residence at NE Quinault Drive in Bremerton.

Belgard then fled the scene, and his location is not known. Police say he should be considered armed and dangerous.

The victim is currently hospitalized with life-threatening injuries.

Those that have any information are asked to contact Detective Dave Meyer at (360) 337-5617.

A recent photo of Belgard is seen above.

Tacoma man unlawfully discharged firearm

Tacoma Police arrested a man in his home at 6100 S G Street for the unlawful possession of a firearm and discharging a firearm in the city.

The 47-year-old man reportedly fired his gun multiple times at his home, which prompted his neighbors to call the police.

Along with his handgun, more than 1,000 rounds of ammunition were found along with three launchers.

Graham deputies arrest suspect who shot at them

Last night, a Graham sergeant was riding in a patrol vehicle when a van pulled up alongside their patrol car and fired into the driver’s side window.

The sergeant was not hit by the bullet.

Afterward, the van sped away, eventually crashing off the road into a 50 foot ravine at 224th St E, with the officer in pursuit.

Drone operators tried to get a view into the car to determine the threat level without risking any of its officers, but due to overgrowth, no confirmation could be made.

SWAT and Search and Rescue eventually made it down to the vehicle but found it empty.

Earlier this morning, detectives found the shooter’s residence in Orting Valley where they surrounded his trailer, and the suspect was arrested.

After receiving medical attention for his collision, he was detained and booked on assault and eluding arrest charges. The prosecutor’s office could consider upgrading the charge to attempted murder.

Lynnwood Police confront suspect in salvage yard

At noon yesterday, Lynnwood police identified a vehicle registered to a man with warrants for attempted second degree murder and assault.

The vehicle was parked at Pick and Pull, a salvage yard off of Highway 99, and officers requested back up when confronting the suspect.

When confronted by officers, the man put a handgun to the head of a woman who he had arrived with.

After attempting to negotiated, officers say the man ran towards his vehicle, hopping over a fence and firing at least one shot.

The suspect was able to drive away and has not been located, police say he is considered armed and dangerous.
