Two men walked away with only minor injuries after their small plane crashed into a house in Eatonville.
The FAA says the Cessna 172 crashed around 5:00 p.m. Thursday, causing only minor damage to the house but severely damaging the plane.
The pilot and his passenger were en route from Oregon to Seattle for a conference. They were trying to land at Swanson Field Airport to avoid a rain squall, according to Eatonville Fire Chief Bob Hudspeth
Instead, the plane skidded into the front of a house on Airport Road. No one was inside the home at the time.
The NTSB and the FAA are investigating.
