A lockdown has just been lifted at Federal Way High School where three students reported receiving a Snapchat video showing a kid displaying a possible handgun in a bag.
It’s unclear if the student who sent the video was on campus. A school resource officer interviewed three students who initially made the report.
Federal Way police were able to track the Snapchat video to a 17-year-old suspect, who has been contacted and arrested. A gun was recovered that was previously reported as being stolen during a car prowl, according to Federal Way Police.
