Car goes into Snohomish River, driver sustains minor injuries

A car went into the Snohomish River, Snohomish County Fire District #4 reported at 2:15 p.m. Monday.
The car was not fully submerged, but water was up to the seats.

Authorities found the car in the water at the 4600 block of Riverview Road, according to KIRO 7.
Responders were able to reach the driver, who was transported to the hospital.
Snohomish Fire told KIRO 7 the incident was not weather-related.
