Not much snow is expected Tuesday, but it could be enough to cause problems for the morning commute.
The National Weather Service says about 1 inch of snow is expected before mid-day Tuesday. An inch is enough to cause problems on our roadways, especially on I-5 between Everett and Seattle.
This chart represents a “best guess” timeline of the arrival of tomorrow mornings snow forecast. Snow will be light and keep in mind 1 inch or less is expected before changing over to rain by mid-morning. #wawx pic.twitter.com/k8XxJDuGzL

Monday morning we saw a wintry mix of rain and snow. Though accumulations in the region were limited in the lowlands, it caused noticeable delays for commuters. The Weather Service reports temperatures dipped near or below freezing. Dozens of schools ran on a two-hour delay due.
KIRO 7 meteorologist Joe Raineri reports snow levels will hover around 500 feet for the next couple of days. Warmer and drier weather will move in toward the end of the week into next weekend.
On Tuesday, we could see a low of 36 and high 45.
