The two Starbucks stores at Seattle’s popular University
Village shopping center are about to get a little
competition as the company says it’ll open a specialty tea
shop in the complex this fall.

The
Seattle Times
reports the new cafe will focus on
offerings from its Tazo tea brand, selling hot and iced
tea drinks and tea lattes, and will feature a blending
station where customers can create their own versions of
Tazo’s existing teas.

The store is slated to open in the fall where Lululemon is currently operating. The women’s
sports fashion store is reportedly moving to a larger
space in the center.

Starbucks has been selling Tazo teas in its stores and at
grocery stores for several years since buying the
Portland, Ore. based company.

The Times reports Starbucks already sells $1.4 billion in
Tazo teas annually, but company leaders believe there is
much greater opportunity for growth.
