SUV suspected in hit and run collision of 7-year-old girl found

Police say they have located and impounded a car believed to be involved in the hit and run collision of a 7-year-old girl.
While detectives have impounded a red Chevy Tahoe, police are still soliciting tips from anyone who may have information about the person driving the vehicle at the time of the incident.
The driver hit the girl near Martin Luther King Jr. Way and South Genesee Street just after 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, according to the Seattle Fire Department.
The 7-year-old was taken to Harborview Medical Center in critical condition. She was later upgraded to serious condition.
Witnesses reported seeing her crossing the street when the red Chevy Tahoe hit her.
