A 17-year-old has died after a collision with a King County deputy’s patrol car early Sunday morning.
The officer’s cruiser slammed into the teen’s Acura at the intersection of South 196th Street and 68th Avenue South in Kent.
The teenager died from his injuries Sunday afternoon at Harborview Medical Center.
Two other people in the Acura were treated on the scene and released. The deputy suffered a broken wrist in the crash. There were no indications that drugs or alcohol played a role.
The sheriff’s office is investigating.
