1 teen dead, 3 injured after violent crash into tree in Puyallup

One teenager was killed, and three other teens were hurt in a violent crash that left a car wrapped around a tree.
Puyallup police said the one-car crash in the 1900 block of West Stewart Street happened at about 1:30 a.m. Tuesday.
All four teens were taken to local hospitals by Central Pierce Fire.
The cause of the crash is under investigation, but KIRO 7 video showed an empty pint bottle of Barcardi rum next to an evidence marker at the scene.
West Stewart was closed at the 1900 block.
