Seattle Police Detectives need the public’s help to find a man suspected of attempted rape and robbery in the Madison Valley.

Police say that on August 31st, at about 5:00 p.m., the suspect, Jordan Alexander, walked into a Madison Valley business, showed a knife, and demanded money from a female employee.

He then forced the woman into another room, where he assaulted and attempted to rape her at knifepoint.

The man took off when another employee interrupted the attack. Detectives have a warrant for Alexander’s arrest.

He is a 33-year-old Black male, 6’1″, slim build, with a shaved head.

During the attack, he wore an orange shirt under a long-sleeved button-down shirt with a checkered pattern, an orange hat, jeans, and black work boots.

Police say in previous incidents, Alexander has attempted to disguise himself by wearing a head wrap, mask, sunglasses, and light-colored makeup.

He is known to hang out on Capitol Hill, especially around 27th Avenue East/East Madison Street, Pine Street/Broadway, 22nd Avenue East/East Madison Street, and Cal Anderson Park. If you see him, call 911.

Gig Harbor DUI suspect smashes into house

Over the weekend, deputies were dispatched to the 4800 block of West Maple Lane Circle NW in Gig Harbor.

Dispatch said a vehicle had crashed into a house. When they arrived, deputies discovered that a pickup truck had traveled about 30 yards off the road, including down a steep embankment, and collided with a house.

The driver was clearly intoxicated and told deputies he wasn’t driving; however, they found the truck’s key fob in his pocket.

The 43-year-old driver was arrested for DUI. Since he was in a collision, he had to be taken to the hospital for medical treatment. Charges will be forwarded to the prosecutor for review.
