KIRO 7 meteorologist Claire Anderson said some wind gusts were as powerful as 69 miles an hour in some locations.

“While we will be working as quickly as we safely can, we expect that some customers may be without power for multiple days,” Puget Sound Energy posted on its website.

KIRO 7 reports a tree fell on a passing car in Auburn. It’s unclear how many people were in the car at the time, but one person was taken to a hospital with unknown injuries.

A tree was uprooted and fell on top of a fence in Puyallup. No injuries were reported.

KIRO 7 contributed to this report.
