Three collisions backing up traffic in Seattle and Bothell

Three collisions stalled traffic in the Seattle area during the Tuesday morning commute.

Two collisions occurred near Boeing Access Road just before 8 a.m. The first blocked the left lanes of northbound I-5 after a rollover crash. The second collision blocked the center lane of I-5 shortly after the first crash.
The two collisions caused a 5 mile backup on northbound I-5.
Earlier, emergency crews cleared the scene of a third collision on southbound I-405 at State Route 522 in Bothell. Traffic, however, remained backed up 5 miles in the wake of the collision and through the remainder of the commute.
