Three female suspects assault homeless woman in Seattle park

Jun 26, 2013, 1:45 PM | Updated: 2:57 pm

Seattle police say three women are suspected of beating up a homeless woman in Westlake Park Monday afternoon.

A bystander videotaped the women hitting and kicking the 30-year-old woman while a crowd watched. Officers arrived and found the woman with injuries to her face. She was treated and sent to Harborview Medical Center.

A witness pointed out three possible suspects walking away from the victim in the 1400 block of 4th Ave. but wasn’t able to positively identify them as the attackers. The three women were identified and released.

Police say they’re not sure what led up to the attack and anyone with any information is encouraged to call 911.
