Three stabbed in Seattle knife, screwdriver fight

Nov 1, 2013, 5:28 AM | Updated: 1:56 pm

A fight in Seattle’s Rainer Valley Thursday evening sent three men to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

All three men suffered significant stabbing injuries after the fight near MLK Jr. Way South and South Hanford Street.

Seattle Police said two men were running from a car they had just broken into when they got into an argument with two men sitting on a stairwell drinking beer.

One of the car prowl suspects pulled out a screwdriver and stabbed one of the men on the stairs. That victim’s friend then pulled a knife and stabbed the two car prowlers. Police say the victim’s friend pulled out a knife and stabbed both the car prowl suspects.

Detectives recovered a knife and a screwdriver when they arrested all three men.

The uninjured man was interviewed by detectives and let go.
