Toys ‘R’ Us will return to 3 Washington cities in October

Toys “R” Us stores will soon open at South Hill Mall in Puyallup, the Outlet Collection Seattle in Auburn, and Vancouver Mall.
The stores will most likely open in October, though there are no exact start dates.
The company filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in 2017 and closed stores nationwide in 2018.

South Hill Mall store has lease of at least a year
“Unlike the typical “pop-up” stores that appear just for the holiday season, the Toys “R” Us at South Hill Mall has a lease that runs at least a year,” according to South Hill Mall spokesperson Joe Bell.
“There is an option for it to stay longer than that, and we hope it does,” Bell said. “It is a wonderful retailer.”
Last week, we learned that 120 standalone Toys “R” Us stores will open nationwide this holiday season in partnership with Go! Retail Group.
