70-year-old traffic flagger rushed to hospital after being hit by dump truck in Capitol Hill

A 70-year-old traffic flagger was rushed to the hospital after she was hit by a dump truck in Capitol Hill Friday morning.
The flagger was struck near the intersection of Broadway and East Pine Street just before 11 a.m., according to the Seattle Police Department (SPD).
The woman was taken to Harborview Medical Center.
SPD noted she was working for a private company. The Seattle Police Department Traffic Collision Investigative Squad is looking into the incident.
Officers said the dump truck driver stayed at the scene and spoke with police.
