Pierce County authorities seized dozens of cats from a trailer in Graham this week.
Animal control officers and sheriff’s deputies served a warrant around 8:30 a.m. at a 30-foot camper after neighbors raised concerns, according to a Facebook post from the Pierce County Sheriff’s Office (PCSO).

They found 80 cats, ranging in age from three days to three years. Most were Maine Coon and domestic medium-hair breeds, the post said.
Officials said six female cats were nursing litters, and others are believed to be pregnant.
Many were infested with fleas and suffering from respiratory infections.
The cats are receiving veterinary care and will be put up for adoption through the Humane Society for Tacoma & Pierce County.
