Tree falls, injuring three at Twin Falls Trail in North Bend

Eastside Fire crews and Search and Rescue teams are doing double duty on Sunday.
First, they were dispatched out to help three hikers at Twin Falls Trail in North Bend. According to KING 5, a tree fell on the trail, followed by a rock slide.
A father and his 16-month-old son were both critically injured. The boy’s mother and sister were with them, as well as a family friend, but they were not hurt.
A woman in her 30’s was also injured. She was not there with the family, but happened to be walking near them. Authorities say one of the victims was airlifted to a hospital.
Crews are also at Poo Poo Point in Issaquah helping a woman with a broken ankle.
