Troopers say man involved in I-405 crash died from medical condition

A man is dead after a multi-car collision on southbound I-405 in Bellevue Monday afternoon.

Washington State Trooper Chris Webb said the man was unconscious when he was extricated from a pickup truck and taken to Overlake Hospital. He was later pronounced dead.

Webb said it appears the man’s death is related to a medical condition and not the collision.

At least one other person was injured in the crash near Coal Creek Parkway. Six cars were damaged.
