Even though the Huskies won’t be making a show at the NCAA tournament, the University of Washington has received some positive attention for its academics.

Several UW graduate programs were ranked among the nation’s best, according to U.S. News & World Report.

The rankings for 2013 put UW first among primary-care medical schools in the country for the 19th consecutive year.

The School of Medicine tied for 10th overall among research medical schools.

The School of Law jumped from 30th to 20th in the rankings, but is ranked 7th among public law schools.

Fifteen other programs, including some from the College of Education and the College of Engineering also finished in the Top 10.
