Police in University Place want your help trying to track down a suspect in an attempted bank robbery on Tuesday.

The suspect showed the teller at Key Bank in the 2400 block of Mildred St. W. a note demanding cash, but grabbed it back after the teller yelled and got the attention of another employee.

No money was taken.

Police say the suspect is described as a black male, approximately 20-years-old, 5’4″ tall, 140 lbs. and has black hair.

Police say he was seen wearing black rimmed eyeglasses, a green camouflage New York Yankees baseball hat, blue jeans, and a light gray hooded sweatshirt at the time of the robbery.

Crime Stoppers is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to an arrest and charges.
