Wouldn’t it be cool to be on the field before the NFC Championship game listening in as the players and coaches prepare? Now you can get close.
For the first time ever, Fox Sports and NFL Media will be streaming live video from the field at CenturyLink Field one hour before kickoff. The video will be presented without announcers, so fans will be able to hear all the natural sounds directly from the field, the NFL announced in a release.
What they’re calling the ‘digital experience’ is expected to include coaches meeting with players on the field before the game, offensive and defensive warmups and drills and pregame player gatherings.
The live video stream is being offered for free on multiple digital platforms including:
-Fox Sports GO (mobile) and Fox Sports.com (desktop and PC)
-NFL Mobile from Verizon (mobile), NFL Now (mobile, tablet, PC and desktop) and NFL Now.com.
The coverage is a complement to FOX NFL Sunday airing live from CenturyLink Field starting at 11:00 AM on FOX and special 6-hour edition of NFL GameDay Morning, which begins at 6:00 AM on NFL Network.
Complete pregame radio coverage gets underway at 9:00 AM on 710 ESPN Seattle and KIRO Radio 97.3 FM.
