The winner of the $1 million prize in Washington state’s vaccine lottery will be picked Tuesday, but the call to the winner may not go out until Wednesday.

Report: Washington’s vaccine lottery led to 24% increase in vaccination rates

If you had at least one COVID-19 shot in Washington before 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, July 11, you would have been automatically entered into the “Shot of a Lifetime” drawing. The lottery gathers names from the Washington State Department of Health’s statewide immunization database.

In addition to the $1 million grand prize drawing on Tuesday, there will be about 350 other prizes given away this week as well, including: Seattle Seahawks and Mariners tickets, concert tickets, Xbox game consoles, Nintendo Switch packs, Google prize packages, Amazon Echo Dots, Discover Passes, Washington State Parks camping gift cards, and Fish & Wildlife Wild Bucks vouchers.

The lottery ran regularly scheduled drawings starting on June 8, picking a new winner for a $250,000 cash price for four weeks, and now culminating in the final $1 million drawing on July 13. The state’s lottery has also included hundreds of other non-cash prizes. Any unclaimed non-cash prizes from the first four drawings have been rolled to the July 13 drawing.
