The state site for Washington residents to order free COVID-19 at-home tests now has more available.

Washington households can order at-home rapid COVID tests at no cost

The portal first went live on Jan. 21, and all the tests that had been available at the time were spoken for within eight hours. This time around, there are about one-third the previous number of tests available.

Order tests online here.

Each household can order up to five rapid tests from the state. The tests are all first come, first served, and are again expected to go quickly. Shipping is free but will likely take a few days.

The state DOH had previously warned that supply may be limited at first, but will be restocked. In total, the governor is setting aside about 3.5 million tests.

If you already have several rapid tests at home, you’re asked to save these for people who have none.

Free COVID-19 tests now available for all US households

Free at-home COVID tests are also available to order through the federal program here. Additionally, at-home tests can be purchased at some local retailers and pharmacies. If you have health insurance, most insurers will now cover or pay you back for up to eight at-home tests per month.
