West Seattle mystery hum continues

The strange hum in West Seattle is back and there’s a new theory about the source.
The folks at the West Seattle Blog went out Tuesday night to track it down. They first went to the Lafarge plant on West Marginal Way and worked with the managers to determine that it’s not the culprit.
While filming at the plant, the crew said they believed the noise was coming from the CalPortland terminal. WSB couldn’t get close enough to confirm that a ship at the terminal was to blame, but it is confirmed that the Silver Lake was at the dock on Aug. 25 and a similar ship was on the Duwamish around Labor Day.
The noise hasn’t been audible since Labor Day Weekend. It started back up again on Monday night.
