What America would look like if Howard Schultz was president

In the wake of New York Times columnist Moreen Dowd’s claim that Howard Schultz is being pressed to run for president of the United States, many have expressed doubt he could win, and now, one person at least, has expressed fear.
“He is the only person who could make me vote for [Donald] Trump,” said 710 ESPN Seattle’s Danny O’Neil.
Schultz is known around the Puget Sound as the chairman and CEO of Starbucks, and also as the man largely responsible for the sale of the Seattle SuperSonics to Clay Bennett. The team was moved to Oklahoma shortly thereafter in 2008. Before selling the team, Schultz attempted to get the city to fund a new stadium. That attempt failed. The sale and move remains a sore topic around Seattle to this day.
O’Neil told KIRO Radio that, knowing Schultz’s past, he has a pretty good idea of what his presidency would look like. He broke it down as such:
• First, he would campaign on a five-year plan to rebuild the nation
• Second, he would ask for $400 million to renovate the White House
• When he doesn’t get the $400 million renovation, he will sell the country to China with a big announcement featuring balloons and a festival, claiming it is the only way to save the nation.
• Finally, he will act shocked when China moves the White House to Beijing and American history is systematically rewritten.
