Here’s a list of areas around the Puget Sound where you can and can’t light fireworks.

Check with your county if you live in unincorporated areas. Check with your city if you’re unsure of the rules. Fireworks are banned in all state parks.

King County

– Allowed on July 4th, 9 a.m. to 12 a.m. (Banned in 2022) — in unincorporated areas.

Algona – Banned
Auburn – Allowed July 4, 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. “If it goes up or blows up, it is illegal in Auburn!”
Beaux Arts Village – Banned
Bellevue – Banned
Black Diamond – Allowed on July 4, 9 a.m. to 12 a.m.
Bothell – Banned (temporarily)
Burien – Banned
Carnation – Banned
Clyde Hill – Banned
Covington – Banned
Des Moines – Banned
