A windstorm left more than 65,000 people without power after strong winds toppled trees and took down power lines.
Power companies made a promise to fans they would do their best to get power back on before the NFC Championship game. They made it for some fans, but 25,000 were still without power at half-time.
High winds that knocked down trees Sunday afternoon at Gig Harbor may have been a weak tornado.
Multiple reports of a small twister moving across Highway 16 and into Puget Sound coincided with the National Weather Service radar, which indicated a weak rotation at the same time.
