Woman allegedly steals $10K to play Facebook game

An Arlington woman has been charged with felony theft for
allegedly using her company credit card to build a virtual
homestead online.
Rebecca Lynn Riley-Terry, 47, is accused of racking up
$9,949.20 in charges on a Facebook game called
FrontierVille.
The game allows players to spend real money on pretend
livestock and crops.
When confronted by police, Riley-Terry allegedly confessed
to using her company’s American Express card to make the
charges between June and Sept. 2011.
Riley-Terry also admitted to using $994.39 to gas up her
personal car without permission from her employer, American
Insure All in Lynnwood.
According to court documents, Riley-Terry repaid $800 of the
charges prior to her arrest for first-degree theft.
