An alert bus driver helped Seattle police capture a possible burglar who picked the wrong Rainier Valley home for a break-in early Friday morning.
Officers answering a 9-1-1 call, just after 1 a.m., found a bus passenger with shotgun pellet wounds to his left arm. He’s being treated for non-life threatening injuries.
At the same time, a homeowner called police to report he was awakened by banging noises and confronted a man standing in the entry. The 66-year-old homeowner told officers he ordered the man to the floor and then shot him before the burglar ran out the door.
