What the heck is BLACKDIAMONDSKYE, you ask? Only the best. tour. ever. happening. ever. Ok, I know I said that this was the best tour ever imaginable and a concert event that should not be missed but I can have two awesome opinions, right? Alice in Chains, Deftones and Mastodon are playing the Key Arena Friday October 8th, and I am positive that this tour which is absolutely gargantuan, will be remembered 10 years from now as the tour that tilted the earth from its axis causing massive floods, earthquakes, lots of fires and general hysteria all around. Totally worth it.

BLACKDIAMONDSKYE is also a portmanteau of the album titles from the latest releases of Alice in Chains (Black Gives Way To Blue), Deftones (Diamond Eyes) and Mastodon (Crack the Skye). See what they did there?

Oh! This concert is also being filmed in 3D for a future DVD release.
